The opening of Jayalakshmi was expected to jolt the existing players in the market as they are well known among Thrissur customers so much so that customers used to travel to Kochi for their wedding purchases. Jayalakshmi started off its ad campaign with teasers which tried to gain eyeballs by making the customers guess about the celebrity who is inaugurating the showroom.
